The School is dedicated to excellence in research, performance, composition, and teacher education, undertaken in a spirit of collaboration among its own constituents, as well as with those of the College of Fine and Applied Arts and the University at large.The Department of Theatre, UIUC, offers a comprehensive array of theatre programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.The Department of Urban and Regional Planning is one of the largest planning programs in the U.S., and it is one of very few programs that offers three degrees: a Bachelor of Arts in Urban Planning, a Master of Urban Planning, and a Doctor of Philosophy in Regional Planning.Krannert Art Museum, located on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a unit within the College of Fine and Applied Arts, opened its doors in 1961, establishing a permanent home for the University's existing collection of fine art.Krannert Center for the Performing Arts was built in 1969 in Urbana, Illinois, USA, on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as an educational and performing arts complex.
