System Login - About the Application Login page

The new University of Illinois Application Login page went live in late May of 2017. It’s more functional, streamlined, and modern. It replaces the old Enterprise Application System (EAS) login page which had obsolete functionality.

<1> NetID

This field is for you to enter your University of Illinois ID – known as your NetID. 

If you don’t have a NetID, please check the information for a First-Time User.

If you are one of the small percentage of users who still have both a NetID and an Enterprise ID (IDs that differ), please check the information for the Information Tool Tip.

If you have a NetID, but have forgotten it, please check the information for the Information Tool Tip.

The System Login page uses your enterprise credentials (ID and password) to grant you access to some applications. If you are one of the small percentage of users who still have both a NetID and an Enterprise ID (IDs that differ), please use your Enterprise ID and password here.

You can, if you have a NetID and Enterprise ID that differ, use our Identity Management System (UI-Identify) to manage both of your accounts and passwords. Go here to manage your self-service password-recovery options or to update your password.

If you have two IDs and would like to move to one, please get in touch with your Unit Security Contact.

<3> Password

This field is for you to enter your password. 

If your password is expired, please go here to reset it.

If you’re getting an error, please check the information for Error Messages.

<4> LOG IN

Click this button once you’ve entered your NetID and Password.

If your password is expired, please go here to reset it.

If you’re getting an error, please check the information for Error Messages.

<5> Forgotten or expired password?

This link is here to help you out if you’ve forgotten your password or if it is expired.

If you’ve forgotten your password or it is expired, please go here to reset it.

If you’ve not set-up self-serve password-reset options, so are unable to recover your account, you will need to visit your University’s Help Desk.

<a> Change password

If you know your current, active password, and would like to change it, this is for you. You will log in using your current password, and then have the option to choose a new password. Click here to go directly there.

<b> Recover forgotten/expired password

If you’ve forgotten your current password or if your password is expired, this is for you. You will regain access to your account via a previously established account recovery option: a text, an email, or a call. Click here to go directly there. If you’ve not set up self-service options, so are unable to recover your account, you will need to visit your University’s Help Desk.

If you’d like to update your self-service account recovery options, this is for you; click here to go directly there.
