Are there costs for the ACCCELL program?
The ACCCELL program is funded by the student Library/IT Assessment. There is no additional cost for this service to ACCCELL recipients.
However, missing parts or a lost or stolen laptop may result in the receiving student being billed up to the full amount of replacing the laptop ($1,200). Costs to repair damage, other than normal wear and tear, to the laptop incurred during the time it is checked out will be charged to the student's UIC account. Charges will vary according to the cost of restoring the laptop to working condition, up to the full amount of replacing the laptop ($1,200).
