How do I install the Webex application to join a meeting?

When to use the Cisco Webex web app with your web browser.

You can download and get more information for Webex here https://accc.uic.edu/services/communication-collaboration/conferencing/webex-meetings/

When attempting to join a Webex meeting, participants are brought to a web page to enter their name and email address. WebEx will attempt to install the app, but if the user does not have administrator rights to the local PC, the installation may fail.

In this case, WebEx should automatically switch to connecting via the web, but if it does not, there is a dropdown in the green "join meeting" button, where a user can opt to only connect via web.

There are some limitations of the web version, mostly with regard to file sharing and remote control. A full list of known issues and limitations is available here: https://collaborationhelp.cisco.com/article/en-us/n0rqd8g
