How to purchase licenses for the CrashPlan backup service through TechServices

How do I purchase a license for CrashPlan through TechServices?

Licensing for the CrashPlan PROe backup Service can be purchased for faculty and staff through WebStore. Licensing runs on a yearly basis, aligned with the University fiscal year (July 1st through June 30th) at a cost of $65.50 per user license. The license allows for one user to use the software on up to 5 devices with unlimited cloud storage.

Once purchased you will have access to the CrashPlan PROe client software, and you will be asked to fill out a web form for the CrashPlan PROe user information.
The server and software use Active Directory for authentication, and therefore requires a current valid UIUC NetID. (If you are part of a department or group that has a CrashPlan administrator, please enter that information in the Department/College field on your request form.

There is an option for a Group or Department to use the CrashPlan PROe backup software for multiple users with a designated CrashPlan PROe Administrator. One license is required for each user of the group registered. The server and software use Active Directory for authentication, and therefore requires current valid UIUC NetID's. If the users are part of a department or group that has a CrashPlan administrator or if this is a new group request, please enter that information in the Department/College on your request form.
