MalwareBytes, Using the On-Premise Enterprise Service

Guidelines for using the on-premise MalwareBytes service

The University of Illinois has a license for the Enterprise edition of MalwareBytes. This software can allow us to create a custom Windows installer which you can deploy to your machines that allows you to run scans manually or automatically for Malware.

Currently we have an installer which can be used on UOFI and UIC domain machines which you can deploy through endpoint management tools (such as: BigFix, SCCM, Munki) or we can provide it to you through the UOFI Box share.

We are currently offering two default Windows installers or we can create a customized copy with different settings than below please contact endpointmanagement@illinois.edu for more information.

We also currently offer the standard Enterprise edition of MalwareBytes for Mac, which is a non-customizable installer. Malwarebytes Enterprise is not capable of allowing the Mac client to register in the MalwareBytes console; however, it does protect the MacOS client.

To get started with the Mac installer click here, this will open a box folder with both UOFI and UIC folders.

To get started with Windows provisioning click here

There are two MalwareBytes Windows installers for both UIC and UOFI.
