Yealink Better Together over Ethernet (BToE)

The BToE feature on Yealink devices enables you to make and receive calls on the phone handset or using the Skype for Business client.

The Yealink BToE connector is used to link your Yealink phone an Skype for Business Client on your computer.  By using the BToE connector you can make and receive calls directly from your computer.

Yealink BToE Connector Setup

  1. Connect and setup the phone
  2. On the phone select Menu 
  3. Arrow to Status and select OK
  4. Select Select General record the IPv4 address: _____ . _____ . _____ . _____  
  5. Select Start 
  6. Scroll to Yealink BToE Connector and Select it to launch
  7. Enter the IP you just recorded and select Pair. (Te BToE status will change to Paired(Signed In) once connection is complete)
  8. The BToE system tray icon should change to BToE Paired System Tray Icon to indicate that the computer and device are paired and signed in.

Signing into Skype for Business

  1. Select Start
  2. Select Skype for Business  (The icon may be selected from the Windows Task bar if present)
  3. Enter the Skype account email address in the Sign-in address. (For example: mdvc-recep2@illinois.edu, YouNetID@illinois.edu, etc.)
  4. Select Sign In
  5. Enter the password
  6. Check the Save my password Box
  7. Select Sign In
