How can clients change their UIC email forwarding / routing?

Clients may want to update their mail routing after creating a new UIC mail inbox. This document details how this may be done.

Please note that clients mayonly route their UIC mail within the following domains:
uic.edu uis.edu uiuc.edu uillinois.edu illinois.edu

**It is not allowed for UIC students, faculty, or staff to route their UIC mail to a personal email address outside of any of the above-listed domains**

With this in mind, clients may go to emailforwarding.accc.uic.edu to log in and update their mail routing

Setting your their mail routing here will control where email sent to their @uic.edu email address actually gets sent.

They may set their email routing to one of the existing accounts listed on the right of the above-listed page. Options may include:

  • ACCC Exchange account
  • UIC Google Apps
  • Custom email (can only be sent to email addresses ending in uic.edu, uis.edu, uiuc.edu, uillinois.edu, or illinois.edu)
