Use the following steps to connect to UIC-WiFi with a Kindle Fire:

  1. Press the Gear icon in the top right corner (settings button).
  2. Select Wi-Fi from the drop down menu.
  3. Turn ON Wireless Networking.
  4. For Connect to a network, select: UIC-WiFi
  5. For EAP method, select: TTLS
  6. For Phase 2 authentication, select: PAP
  7. For CA certificate and User certificate, keep the default: (unspecified)
  8. For Identity, enter your UIC NetID.
  9. For Anonymous Identity, enter: Anonymous Identity
  10. The Password is your UIC common password.
  11. Select: Connect
  12. Your Kindle should display: Attempting to connect.
  13. Kindle should now be connected to UIC-WiFi.
