Here are the most common questions & solutions for the start of the semester.

Students:

Where are my classes?

Roster uploads start loading the Wednesday before classes start. If you just added a course it takes 2-3 days. The professor or TA can add you at anytime. Tech Services cannot add you.

I dropped a course and it is still there OR my old courses from last semester are still there.

Illinois Compass 2g, A dropped class or an old class from a previous semster still in course list – Courses take a few days before they disappear, old courses expire when the professor chooses.

Nothing appears to load when I log in or it keeps freezing.

Rosters uploads happen daily but aren't immediate. Rosters can be added earlier if requested via consult@illinois.edu.
