What information is needed for Software issues in Classrooms or Labs?

EAD needs the name of the PC with software issues in order to verify what the problem may be.

If you ever have a client interaction related to the login or software problems in a lab, there's one piece of information that's important to acquire. EAD needs to know the name of a PC so they know exactly which PC to look for in their system. ACCC lab PCs all have the PC name on a label attached to the front of it (not the asset tag "P20XXXXXX".) The label will have the lab location listed first followed by an identifying number. EAD will need the whole label name.

Example:
  1. SEL2249-PD10
  2. CL-BSB250-PD
Alternatively, if no label is available you can ask the client to log out and type in  .\  in the username field. A message below the password field will change and say "Sign in to: -insert PC name-"
