How do I make my course accessible to people outside of UIC?

This is an article that explains how to permit guests and allow users outside of UIC to see content.

You can permit guests by going to Customization under Course Management, then hitting 'Guest and Observer Access.' This should take you to a page where you can permit guests.

If you have permitted guests and made content available to them, then you should be able to copy the URL of the opening page of your course site and paste it to send to anyone you wish to see the site. Make sure that the content area the site opens on has guests permitted - you can do this for any content area by clicking on the downward arrow beside it and hitting 'Permit Guests.'

NOTE: Currently, guest URLs to course sites are rerouting to the login page rather than working as expected. ACCC is working with the vendor to resolve this. In the meantime, please contact ACCC-LTS at 312-413-0003 Option 1 or by email at LTS@uic.edu and we will generate a working guest URL for you.
