Cambridge Structural Database (CSD)
Cambridge Crystallographic Data Centre
Cambridge Structural Database is database of organic and organometalic compounds. The program incorporates many features. The probably most widely used is the search engine for chemical structures.
Usage Instructions:
WebCSD, courtesy of the SCS is free within the UIUC network, including with VPN):
The CSD is also accessible on our computer cluster, Triton, for users with SCS computer accounts. Connect via ssh to triton with display forwarding (ssh -Y triton.scs.uiuc.edu), and if you are on a Windows computer, with an X server running.
ConQuest, the interface to the database, can be launched by typing cq.
Inorganic Crystal Structure Database (ICSD)
The Inorganic Crystal Structural Database contains complete structural information for inorganic compounds, including compound name, molecular formula, crystal symmetry group, unit cell parameters, atomic coordinates, and temperature factors. Sources for ICSD are original journal articles. ICSD contains the CDIST software calculation package. Bibliographic information, property information, and indexing terms are searchable.
Supported in collaboration with the Chemistry Library.
