Trouble Accessing Lon-Capa reports single sign-on success but no Lon-Capa account message.
Experiencing Trouble Accessing Lon-Capa?
Some students have reported difficulty accessing Lon-Capa from a saved bookmark or from within an external link shared in a Canvas course.
An error message indicating "You have authentication using Shibboleth Single Sign On service was successful. However, you do not currently have a LON-CAPA account with the username with which you authenticated."
An instructor can verify that you are enrolled in the course, however the above message generally indicates a cached credentials.
To resolve the issue clear the web browser cache and or use a different web browser to access Lon-Capa directly. To access Lon-Capa directly, please type in https://lon-capa.illinois.edu and logon using your campus credentials instead of using Single Sign On.
