MHC, Ricoh IM 350 Operation Guide

Specific steps for using the Ricoh IM 350 to copy, fax, or scan documents.

Remove all staples, paperclips, binder clips, and Post-it notes prior to inserting documents into machine.

Copying Process

  1. Click the blue button labeled “Copy”.
  2. Insert original documents into the scanner, top first and face up.
  3. Review and change the settings on the screen, if needed
    1. 2-sided copying
      1. Click/check the box for “2 sided à 2 sided” in the middle of the screen.
  4. Click “Start” to begin the copying process.

Faxing Process

  1. Click the pink button labeled “Quick Fax”.
  2. Click “Specify Dest.” In the middle of the screen.
    1. Dial the fax destination and be sure to dial nine and one before the area code.
    2. Click “OK” in the top right to close the dial pad.
  3. Insert original documents into the scanner, top first and face up.
  4. Review and change the settings below the destination, if needed.
    1.  2-sided faxing
      1. Click on the button that says, “1 Sided Original | Auto Detect”.
      2. Change the “Original Sides” setting to “2 Side: Top to Top”.
      3. Click “Back” in the top left.
      4. Click “OK” in the top right.
  5. Click “Start” to begin the faxing process.

Scanning Process

  1. Click the green button labeled “Scanner”.
  2. Click a destination from the list.
  3. Insert original documents into the scanner, top first and face up.
  4. Review and change the “Send Settings” on the right of the screen, if needed.
    1.  2-sided scanning
      1. Click “Send Settings” on the right of the screen.
      2. Change the “Original Settings” setting to “2 Sided | Open Rt/Lft”.
      3. Click the back arrow in the top left.
  5. Click “Start” to begin the scanning process.
