Digital Signage, Korbyt Windows Player Desktop

Korbyt digital signs with the full Windows installation of KWP come with a web interface for player management called KWP Desktop. This page describes how to log into the interface and some of the functionality available to digital signage managers.

Installations of Korbyt Widows Player (KWP) using the full (non-Lite) application have a web configuration interface called KWP Desktop that can be accessed through a web browser. The web configuration interface offers some of the same and additional management tools from Korbyt Anywhere, including:

  • Player information
  • Setting Output Properties
  • Shutdown/Restart Players
  • Install Runtime or player versions
  • Troubleshooting, such as clearing cache
  • View logs

To access the interface, enter the host name or IP address into a web browser.

A log in page will appear (Please contact the Digital Signage Service for the default username and password):

kwp login page

After login, all units are highly encouraged to change the default password. To do so, go to the Security tab, enter the username and default password, and then reset to a new password.

kwp password reset page

After resetting the password, log out in the upper right-hand corner, and then log back in with the new password.

More information about Accesing KWP Desktop can be found in the Korbyt Knowledge Base.
