Banner - PZAREDS - Error: Another User is Currently Processing This Employee

What to do when PZAREDS is locked by other users.

Users will sometimes encounter an error on PZAREDS stating ‘Another user XXXXX is currently processing this employee’ even if the user named in the error message is not currently processing a redistribution on the employee. This lock can occur when PZAREDS is not exited correctly.

In most cases, the lock can be cleared by having the previous user pull the employee back up in PZAREDS & then roll back (Start Over). The new user should then be able to access the employee on PZAREDS without receiving the error message.

If this method doesn’t work or the person locking the record cannot be contacted, submit a ticket to the AITS Service Desk to request that the record be unlocked.
