HR2 IDs are granted to users who have a business need to have update access to one set of org codes and query access to another group of org codes. An example is users in Central Offices who also perform departmental functions. For example, users in the Central HR office might need to be able to view certain information campus-wide, but the same user might also be a time entry approver for their own department. Most often an HR2 ID is requested when someone is responsible for time entry for one or a few orgs while needing to do other functions campus wide.
To request an HR2 account users will have their USC submit a request in the Security application.
If the user already has an HR2 account and needs the password reset, a ticket can be created and sent to the System Access Management team or the user can send an email to the System Access Management team: email@example.com. Ensure the ticket or email has the users name and HR2 account id, make sure to let them know the password needs changed.
