Sometimes users will remove the value that is automatically populated: an asterisk (*). If the asterisk (*) is removed from this prompt, users will receive the following error message and Web Intelligence will not run the query.

If the prompt is removed from the query altogether, it will continue to show up as a prompt when running the report, and the asterisk (*) will still be required to run the query.
