NetID Center
NetID Center usage instructions
The NetID center is the central location to manage you password and 2FA profile
To begin managing your password or 2FA profile select <NetID Center>
The initial screen will present the current status of your password expiration date, 2FA devices, password recovery options, and 2FA emergency bypass email.
You are given three options
- Password: To change your password, select the "Change password" option. You will be asked to verify your current password recovery options and confirm if you want to be included in the campus alert system. You are required to set at least one recovery option (email, text message, voice)
- 2-Factor Authentication: To manage you 2FA devices, select the "Manage my 2FA" option. This will allow you to add new phones, Yubikey and C100 devices. This would also replacing a phone, reactivating an existing phone etc.
- Recovery Settings: The change your password recovery options and your 2FA emergency bypass email address
The bottom section of this initial screen will give a list of FAQs, University NetID policies, and access to generate an emergency 2FA bypass code, The 2FA bypass code can be utilized if you do not have your mobile phone, landline phone, Yubikey, or C100 device. This will generate an emergency bypass code that can be utilized for up to 72 hours.
The Yubikey and C100 devices can be obtained at the University webstore for a minimal cost.
