iBuy - Establishing and Using Favorites
The Favorites functionality allows requisitioners to store items that are ordered on a regular basis or selection of items specifically saved for their Department.
There are two types of Favorites:
- Personal – items identified for future purchasing and managed by the individual
- Share – frequently ordered products by a Department in a folder managed by an individual identified by the Department as the Folder Administrator
Items from catalogs are not to be added as Personal or Shared Favorites due to catalog updates that can alter pricing and availability. Many of the Punchout catalogs offer the ability to mark favorites within the catalog.
To Add Items to Favorites
- Open a completed requisition that contains the item frequently ordered.
- Click the Action icon () to open the Line Item Action menu.
NOTE: Refer to the Cart section of the iBuy - Shopping Experience from Search to Place Order job aid. - Select Add Favorite.
- In the pop-up window, the Item Nickname and Quantity fields are already populated. You can change the Item Nickname as necessary, and the Description field is optional.
- Under Select Destination Folder ~ Personal ~ My Favorites, choose one of the following:
- Select the destination folder.
- Click Create New to create a new folder (instructions below).
- Click Save Changes.
To Add Favorite Items to a Cart
- Access Favorites.
- Click on the Shop icon on the left navigation. Within the Shopping section, select View Favorites under Go To.
- Within the Shop at the Top section, select the Favorites option next to Go To.
- Click the folder or item for the item(s) to add.
- Edit Quantity.
- Click Add to Cart.
- If adding multiple items, select the checkbox on each item. Then click Add to Cart.
To Create Folders and Subfolders
- Under Favorites, click Add New.
- Select Top Level Personal Folder or Subfolder of Selected Folder from the drop-down menu.
- Enter a name and description (optional).
- Click Save Changes.
