Emburse Enterprise – Submitting Visa Fees

This article provides information about the business purpose, naming conventions, and documentation requirements for visa fees submitted in Emburse Enterprise.

Effective 9/30/25, per Executive Order 14247, paper checks will no longer be accepted by USCIS. Applications submitted that contain USCIS fees must contain a completed G-1450 form (PDF). Moving forward these payment requests should not be submitted in Emburse as an Invoice Report. Payment must be handled via the G-1450 form utilizing the university issued PCard.

  1. Unit completes the G-1450.
  2. Unit securely transmits the application and G-1450 form to ISSS, either by physical means or by PEAR.
  3. Once the application has been received by The Department of Homeland Security the PCard on the G-1450 will be charged.
  4. The PCard charge is required to be attached to an expense report in Emburse.
  5. The Business Purpose/Justification field should contain what fee is being paid and the employee’s full name.
    1. “H1B Filing Fee *Employee’s Name*”
    2. “H1B Anti-Fraud Fee *Employee’s Name*”
    3. “H1B Premium Processing Fee *Employee’s Name*”
    4. “H1B Extension Filing Fee *Employee’s Name*”
    5. “H1B Extension Premium Processing *Employee’s Name*”
  6. Backup documentation is required to identify that the correct fees and dollar amounts are being paid. All this information can be found on the USCIS website.
    1. For the H1B Visa (I-129), visit the G-1055, Fee Schedule webpage.
      1. Download the USCIS Fee Schedule form.
      2. Mark on the printout which fee you are paying: Filing Fee (Base Fee), Fraud Prevention and Detection Fee, or Premium Processing Services Fee.
      3. Attach this printout as your receipt to the Expense Report.
    2. For the Legal Permanent Resident Filing Fee, visit the I-140, Immigrant Petition for Alien Workers webpage.

    3. For the Legal Permanent Resident Premium Processing fee, visit the I-907, Request for Premium Processing Service webpage.
