Denodo Consumers - Connecting to DBeaver

This article provides step-by-step instructions on how consumers can connect to DBeaver in Denodo.
  1. Open DBeaver and open a New Database Connection.
  2. Type Denodo in the search bar and select the Denodo 8 option when it appears.
  3. Host:
    • datahub.uillinois.edu (Production environment)
    • urbdenododev1.admin.uillinois.edu (Dev environment)
    • urbdenodotest1.admin.uillinois.edu (QA environment)
  4. Port: 9999
  5. Database/Schema: enter the name of your VDB in Denodo. (ex. doc_vdb)
  6. Username: your NetID
  7. Password: Leave blank and uncheck the Save password checkbox.
  8. Click the Test Connection button, and use your AD password to log in.
  9. After confirmation of a successful connection, click OK.
