Students cannot request or obtain direct access to University system or network logs for personal purposes. Specifically, students accused of an infraction, or otherwise involved in a disciplinary matter, cannot directly access system logs. Only Academic Integrity committees or the Dean of Students Office may gain access to these logs, if needed, as part of a judicial or disciplinary process. Students who require log information for a disciplinary case must request that the appropriate hearing officer obtain the logs on their behalf. The hearing officer will determine whether obtaining such information is warranted.
