University Bursar - How do I view my federal student loan history?

Information about your student loans can come from different places.

Sources of Student Loan Information

  • Federal student loan information can be found at Federal Student Aid.
  • Information about campus-based or institutional loans with University of Illinois can be found through Heartland ECSI.
  • Private loan information can be found through your lender or servicer. You can view lender information on your credit reports through annualcreditreport.com.

Access Federal Student Loan Information

  • Visit Federal Student Aid
  • Select "Log In" 
  • Input your FSA ID username and password
  • You may be asked to update your contact information and agree to the terms and conditions
  • Click "Continue"
  • Continue to your FSA Dashboard

To Accept or Cancel A Federal Loan

In-school borrowers can accept or cancel their federal student loans through the financial aid notification on Student Self-Service. For more information, visit the financial aid office at your University:
