Android 15 (Vanilla Ice Cream) - Clearing Cache and Cookies on Google Chrome

This document explains how to clear the cache and cookies of Google Chrome on Android phones and tablets that are running on the Android 15 (Vanilla Ice Cream) operating system.
  1. Open Chrome on your Android device.

  2. Click the Options symbol in the top right corner (looks like three vertical dots). Note: The name may vary based on your device.

  3. Find and select Settings.

  4. Then select Privacy and security.

  5. Choose Delete browsing data.

  6. The next window will have various options and corresponding boxes to check. See the following options:
    1. To delete the browser history, check the Browsing history box.  

    2. To delete the cookies, check the Cookies and site data box.

    3. To delete the cache, check the Cached images and files and box.

  7. Click Delete data.

  8. Depending on your device, a window may pop up asking for the deletion to be confirmed. If this happens, select Delete. If this window does not appear, you have finished deleting your cache and/or cookies.
