How to access LinkedIn Learning
This page is intended to encourage Extension staff to access free, online, software-learning courses from LinkedIn Learning; for personal development or in tandem with the monthly Q&A "Book Club" hosted by Extension IT.
About LinkedIn Learning
LinkedIn Learning was previously known as Lynda.com. LinkedIn Learning is an entirely browser-based learning environment with thousands of video courses. Extension staff who have a valid NetID are eligible to use LinkedIn Learning at no cost.
How do I sign in?

- Go to: https://web.uillinois.edu/linkedinlearning/login-uiuc/
- Select the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and proceed
- Sign in with your netID and password
- Once you log in, click any tutorial on the LinkedIn Learning landing page to get started
How do I use LinkedIn Learning?
Search for courses of interest by entering topics in the Search box at the top of the home page. For a thorough tutorial, please view their course on the website: Getting Started with LinkedIn Learning
