What do I do if I am being prompted to switch accounts when I log into Zoom?
If you previously had a Zoom account using your UIC email address, and it was associated with another departmental or university Zoom domain (such as if you purchased access to Zoom via the UofI Webstore prior to March 20, 2020), you will be prompted to switch your account over to the UIC Zoom portal.
When you first log in to uic.zoom.us when you had a Zoom account already, you may be prompted with the following message. You should click I Acknowledge and Switch.
You will then receive an email to confirm the change and activate your account to the UIC Zoom portal. The below message is valid and you are able to click Switch to the new account.
You will then be greeted by this message, and your account will be successfully joined to the UIC Zoom portal, allowing you to use Zoom with the UIC Blackboard system.
