How do I login to Gradescope with UIC credentials?
UIC has an institutional license to Gradescope that allows all instructors and TAs to log in to Gradescope using your UIC credentials.
Gradescope is integrated with Blackboard. An account will be created for you automatically the first time you use Gradescope.
To access Gradescope, navigate to Blackboard
, click on Tools
from any content area or from the left-hand navigation, as shown in the image below, and then click on Gradescope
. For information about what Gradescope is, see What is Gradescope?
The email address on your account will be the same as the email address associated with your UIC's credentials.
If you already have an account, and your Gradescope email address matches the email address associated with your school’s credentials, your account will be automatically linked when you attempt to log in to with those credentials.
If your Gradescope account has a different email address, we recommend that you first log in to Gradescope, and then link your school credentials by visiting your account settings page. Otherwise, you may end up with two separate Gradescope accounts. If that happens, follow the steps in How can I merge two accounts?
Students and Instructors can find answers to many general questions about using Gradescope in their FAQ's website
Note: Students new to Gradescope will automatically have accounts by being in your Blackboard course roster. For students that created accounts in Gradescope, when students’ emails match, Gradescope can automatically link their accounts for them when they try to log in with UIC credentials. Otherwise, they will have to link their account first or email support to have their accounts merged.
