How do I request a pager?
Long Range Pagers are small receivers which are carried by individuals who need a means by which to be contacted when they are not near a phone. Technology Solutions manages campus long range paging service and offers the following pagers:
- Digital pagers which provide an audio or vibrating "alert" signal and display a "call back" telephone number.
- Alphanumeric pagers which allow you to receive alphanumeric messages (words and numbers) with an audio or vibrating alert signal.
The prices for local service and nationwide service vary upon the model of pager. Telecom charges a $10 monthly processing fee.
