Illinois App, Wallet

Use the Wallet feature to access your meal plan details and Dining Dollars balance, ride the bus, check out library materials, share your contact information, and show your Illini ID.

Feature Requirements

  • Privacy Level: Level 4 or Higher (Settings > My App Privacy Settings > Manage and Understand Your Privacy)
  • NetID Sign-In: Required (Profile > Sign In/Sign Out)
  • Profile Setting: Any (Profile > Who Are You)

The Wallet conveniently organizes the tools you need every day in one spot:

  • Bus pass
  • Illini ID
  • Meal plan
  • Business card
  • University library card

Bus Pass

The digital Bus Pass works just like your i-card. Show it to an MTD bus driver to travel off campus.

The Bus Pass feature requires an active i-card. If your i-card has expired, you will see a message on the Bus Pass screen that your card is deactivated. Contact the Urbana ID Center to renew your i-card.

Illini ID

Use this digital identification card to confirm your identity or UIN and to access campus facilities. It is accepted in most locations and situations. Note that a physical i-card must be used at the Activities and Recreation Center (ARC) and Campus Recreation Center East (CRCE).

The Illini ID feature requires an active i-card. If your i-card has expired, you may see your UIN only on the Illini ID screen or a message that your card is deactivated. Contact the Urbana ID Center to renew your i-card.

Meal Planmeal plan screen

The Meal Plan feature helps you keep track of the remaining meals in your plan, your Dining Dollars balance, and your transaction history.

My Digital Business Card

The digital business card makes it easy to share your contact information with other app users.

University Library Card

This digital card can serve as your ID for picking up equipment loans or checking out library materials such as books or keys to study rooms.

The University Library Card feature requires an active i-card. If your i-card has expired, you will see a message on the University Library Card screen that your card is deactivated. Contact the Urbana ID Center to renew your i-card.

Note: The Illini Cash program has been discontinued.
