A/V Guide

1. Touch the screen to begin

2. Select the presentation source(s) using the main configuration screen:

3. There are 4 options to Present:

  • Select PC (Primary/Secondary), if presenting through the resident computer. To log into the resident computer, use your university credentials.
  • Select USB-C, if connecting your device(laptop) through this port
  • Select HDMI, if connecting your device(laptop) through this port
  • Select Wireless if presenting using the wireless presentation device mode.
To set the source for a display, first select the source in the bottom bar, then tap the desired display.
- For example, if you would like to have the North Projector show the Primary PC display, then first select "PC Primary" in the bottom bar, and then click the "North Projector" square.
- For this room, North means to the left of the presenter (right from the audience's perspective), and South means to the right of the presenter (left from the audience's perspective)

Important notes about presentation modes:
Currently, the right monitor is always linked to the north projector. For this reason, we recommend presenters to use the right monitor as the "presenter view" (public) screen, and the left monitor as the "presenter notes" (private) screen.
Currently, the ceiling speakers do not work when 'Wireless' or 'PC Secondary' is selected in the bottom bar. However, all other selections should work.
- For the ceiling speakers to work, make sure the source named 'Dell U2424H' is selected as the audio output in the audio settings! You can make sure this is the case by going to Settings -> Sound.

4. The top controls of the Touch Panel:

Camera Controls:

- To select the camera source (Either PC or USB-C) use the left panel.
- You can also toggle between the audience camera and the instructor camera via the selections in the middle panel.
- To precisely control the positioning and zoom of the camera, use the arrows and plus/minus sign
- There are also 6 presents available for use (select using the present buttons). These cannot be changed.

Audio and Projector Controls:

- To bring the projector displays up or down, use the 'Screen Up' and 'Screen Down' buttons on the left side.
- To control the volume output of the Lavalier Microphone and/or the Computer program, use the 'Lav Mic' and 'Program' controls on the right side, respectively.
- To mute/unmute the ceiling microphone, use the 'Ceiling Mic' button in the middle.
