General Information

Access to Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, and WSUS is limited to Urbana campus colleges and departments and is provided at no direct cost to participating units through central funding. The MECM service is available on a per-endpoint basis.

MECM service cost per unit does not include the cost of setting up or maintaining a distribution point (a server typically installed in the unit with enough storage to cache MECM content to be used by the unit).

Which endpoints will generate a charge to my unit's EPS bill?

Charges are based on the endpoint appearing in the unit's MECM "All Systems" collection with an installed client.

IT Professionals can avoid accidental charges to their units by removing retired endpoints from the appropriate service consoles and removing the client from the endpoint. For MECM and Microsoft Intune, IT Professionals will also want to remove retired endpoints from Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID as per best practices.
