- Internal Rates pertain to all NMR users of the University of Illinois including the Urbana-Champaign, Chicago, and Springfield campuses.
- Non-UI Academic rates pertain to all other schools.
- External Rates pertain to everyone else.
- Internal Rates have been computed based on average operating costs and the hours of NMR spectrometer use.
- Non-UI Academic and External Rates include additional overhead expenses.
- NMR Staff Service pertains to any activity directed to a particular individual for a specified time period. Examples are custom equipment set-ups, data collection, exceptional data analysis, training, or any distinct task outside the norm of routine practice.
