Kaltura, Recording through the browser with Express Capture
Kaltura's Express Capture option on the Add New menu allows you to make a quick video (webcam and desktop capture) and upload it directly to Kaltura without installing software.
"Express Capture" allows users to make a quick recording using the Webcam, and also captures the desktop. It uploads recordings directly to Kaltura. It's HTML5-based and should serve as lightweight alternative to Kaltura Capture, for when you need to make a truly quick video.
To make a recording, choose Express Capture from the Add New menu in mediaspace.illinois.edu. Here is a detailed help document from Kaltura:
After Express Capture has uploaded your video into Kaltura, you can access it through My Media, and also edit the video online and request captions.
