Engineering IT Recommended Microsoft Teams Devices

Microsoft Teams supports a variety of computer-connected and stand-alone devices for use with Voice over IP (VoIP) telephone service. Here are some specific models that Engineering IT recommends for use with Microsoft Teams.

Microsoft Teams Certification

Microsoft's peripherals certification program for Teams ensure that certified devices will work (plug & play) with no extra configuration required, and will offer call control with Microsoft Teams. For a comprehensive list of Microsoft Teams certified devices, please see here: USB audio and video devices certified for Microsoft Teams

Many devices will still work with Microsoft Teams even if they are not Microsoft Teams certified. If you have a device that currently works for audio with Teams, it will continue to work with Teams after the transition in May 2023. If you have any questions about your device's compatibility with Microsoft Teams, please consult your local IT professional.
