Windows Printing
Adding Printer to your Windows computer using Printer Logic
1. Go to the URL https://printerlogic.illinois.edu using a browser of your choice or within the system tray click the little printer icon with a green plus. This will open the https://printerlogic.illinois.edu using your preferred browser.
2. On the https://printerlogic.illinois.edu website, you will see a list of Colleges, Departments, and Buildings. Select the department and building the printer is located. A list of printers should be displayed.
3. Click on the printer you would like to install. If you would like for the new printer to be the default print location check the "Set as default printer" checkbox and click the Yes button.
Please note: a drive must be present in order to install the printer. If "No Driver" displays for the printer then you will not be able to install the printer for your OS. If you need to install printer with a missing driver, please contact your IT personnel for your unit.
4. After the installation is complete a confirmation message will appear letting you know the installation was successfully. Click the OK button or X close button.
5. The printer should now be listed under Start > Control Panel > Devices and Printers
Adding Printer to your Mac computer using Printer Logic
