LED Combo Model - Quick Start Guide for Instructors
This is a short guide for instructors on the Combo Remote model, as well as some basic troubleshooting tips for the best experience.
Normal session join procedure:
- Power up all devices and allow to boot
- Prepare content so it is visible on your desired display
- Open your course vMix preset
- Confirm camera is framed properly and adjust if needed
- Confirm audio levels are visible
- Look for the blue or green bouncing meter
- Minimize vMix
- Open Zoom and join meeting
- Enable audio and video
- Confirm video feed to Zoom is present
- Test Zoom audio to confirm you are hearing Zoom
Note: Please fill out the blank cells in the tables below with the correct settings for your particular setup. If not certain of the correct settings, please reach out to your Technical Operator for support (Jackson Tinch and Kyle Mabry).

If you run into a technical issue live during the session, don't worry about solving the technical issue, just drop to using Zoom.
Dropping to Zoom Remote:
- Close vMix and discard changes
- In Zoom, set the following:
Device or Feature: What the correct setting for your setup is: Zoom Mic Zoom Speaker Zoom Camera - Share screen for content as with normal Zoom meeting
- After the session ends, please alert your TO's (Jackson Tinch, Kyle Mabry, Thomas Tekieli) and inform them of the technical issue
Troubleshooting:
- Double-check audio/video routing in Zoom
- Exit and relaunch NDI Webcam
- Reboot and start over
- Drop to fully remote on Zoom
