Outlook, Remove address from auto-complete list

Microsoft Outlook remembers email addresses you type, offering to auto-complete them to save time. This article shows you how to remove an entry from the auto-complete list, for example a misspelled address or one that no longer exists.

Start typing the old address that you want to remove.

When the address appears, hover over it with your mouse and select the "X" button on the far right of the entry.

Alternatively, when the address is selected, on Windows, press the "Del" key, and on Mac, press Fn+Delete.

Here are examples of what this looks like in Outlook desktop in Windows and macOS.
