Optional Supplemental Salary Language

Approved Optional Statements
Option 1: Final salary offered will be determined by a thorough assessment of available market data, internal salary equity, candidate experience and qualifications, collective bargaining agreements, and budget constraints.
Option 2: When extending job offers, the University of Illinois carefully considers factors such as (but not limited to) the role’s responsibilities, the candidate’s experience and education, essential skills, internal peer equity, budget constraints, and market trends. The rate provided reflects the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate at the time of posting.

The final salary offer will be determined through a thorough assessment of these elements.
Option 4: Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
Option 5: The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate (including equivalent years in rank, training, and discipline), internal equity, and external market pay for comparable jobs.
