Safari 5 (Mac) - Clearing Cache and Cookies

This document explains how to clear the cache and cookies in Safari version 5 and older.
  1. Click on Safari > Reset Safari....

    In the top left menu, Safari is selected with the 7th option Reset Safari highlighted.

  2. Check both Empty the cache and Remove all cookies, then click on the Reset button.

    In the Reset Safari window, Empty the cache (option 4) and Remove all cookies (option 6) are selected and Reset in the bottom right is highlighted.
