Kaltura Player 7 Accessibility
A summary of accessibility issues identified with Kaltura Player 7.
Technology Services has identified an accessibility issue with the most recent version of the Kaltura media player, Player 7:
Partially sighted learners may be unable to discern the “play” arrow without the aid of a screen reader.
The Kaltura support team at Technology Services has submitted these issues to Kaltura support, and we've been assured that they will address them as soon as possible. In the meantime, we've heard from peer institutions that the best alternative access plan for mitigating these issues is to use a screen reader.
