Software Request Policy:

Installation Requests

• The requesting department or college must provide the software and valid licensing to ICS.
• Installation requests must be submitted at least two weeks in advance. To help us serve you better, please submit your requests as early as you can. 
• Requestors are responsible for testing the software at least three days prior to use to confirm it functions as expected in the lab environment

Support

ICS-provided software is supported at a basic level by ICS staff. Support for externally provided software may be limited.

Availability

Software is guaranteed to be available only for the semester in which it is requested. Class-related software installations will remain on ICS supported workstations during the Fall and Spring semesters. However, software may be removed during the summer unless it is explicitly required for a summer course.

ICS-supported labs and systems are provided as an instructional resource. Due to the terms of many of our software license agreements, ICS computers may not be used for research purposes.
