Multi-factor Authentication (MFA), Enrolling a C200 TOTP Hardware Token on Microsoft MFA
Current clients, if you already have a working Duo-registered device, you can use that to authenticate to set up your Microsoft devices.
New clients may need to contact the Tech Services Help Desk to request a bypass code to authenticate before setting up your Microsoft devices.
Navigate to aka.ms/mfasetup
Enter your username and password.
You will be redirected to the Duo Universal Prompt.
Once you have Authenticated and completed a Duo 2FA, you will be logged into your Security Info page on your Microsoft Account.
Next, click on the + Add sign-in method and select Hardware token.
A pop up window will ask for the Hardware Token's Serial Number.
You can find your Hardware Token's serial number on the back of the device.
You will need to name your Hardware Token.
The next pop up will ask for the 6-digit verification code on the device you just registered.
This will appear like this on the device:
The next pop up screen will have the confirmation that your device has been added to your Microsoft account.
Your New C200 Hardware token will now be listed on the Security Info screen, it should look like this:
