Purpose

Intune helps IT administrators enforce security policies, deploy and manage software, and ensure devices are compliant, protecting company data without compromising employee productivity.

General Information

Intune is a cloud-based service that enables organizations to manage devices and applications. It is part of Microsoft's Enterprise Mobility + Security (EMS) suite.

Key Features

  • Mobile Device Management (MDM): Enrolls and manages corporate and personal devices, ensuring they comply with security policies.
  • Mobile Application Management (MAM): Manages and protects corporate data within applications, even on un-enrolled devices.
  • Endpoint Security: Configures security policies, firewalls, and antivirus settings.
