ICS, Search & Install Managed Software
The Technology Services – Instructional Computing Services (ICS) team supports a selection of software applications across all ICS-supported labs, Classrooms, and the Illinois AnyWare virtual environment. These labs support both Instructional and General use.

How to search for the software
If the software is listed in the above link for the classroom, here is the easy way to search for the software:
Windows
Mac
If the Software is installed, the app will show up during search.
If the app does not show up, it can be installed through the Software Center(Windows) or Self Service(Mac) by following the instructions below.

How to Install Available Applications Using Software Center
- To find the "Software Center" application in Windows -> Type "software" in the search bar of the Windows taskbar
- From the "Software Center" Application, you'll see a list of applications you can install if they're not already installed on your PC. You will find all the Applications here, or you can search for any particular Application through the search bar.
- If the application is listed as Available, it has not been installed on your PC or needs an update. To install, simply click on the application then click on the Install button
- This will install the Application
Self Service(Mac)
How to Install Applications Using Self Service
- Click the magnifying glass 🔍 icon in the top-right corner of the menu bar. Search for "Self Service"
- On the Self Service app, click on the "Catalog", choose "All" or the appropriate category
- Click "Install" to install the app.
Any of the apps listed can be installed without needing user credentials.
