WebStore, Updating Your Adobe Account Email (University of Illinois Users)
Overview
Adobe is updating how personal Adobe accounts associated with university email addresses are managed. If you have a personal Adobe account tied to your @illinois.edu / @uic.edu / @uis.edu email address, Adobe will require you to update that account to use a non‑university email address.
This change does not affect university‑provided Adobe licenses purchased through the Illinois WebStore.
Who Needs to Take Action
You need to take action only if:
- You created a personal Adobe account using a University of Illinois email address, and
- You want to continue using that personal Adobe account.
If you only use Adobe through a university‑provided license, no action is required.
What You Need to Do
- Sign in to your Adobe account at:
https://account.adobe.com - Navigate to Account and Security → Account Information
- Update your email address to a personal (non‑university) email
✅ Your files, projects, and subscriptions will remain unchanged.
