Enterprise Service Management, Enterprise IT Service Catalog, Aligning Service Offering Names
Aligning Service Offering Names: Service Catalog, StatusHub, Service Requests, and Incident Management
IT Service Management (ITSM) practices are interconnected. The Enterprise IT Service Catalog is foundational to Service Request Management, Incident Management and other ITSM practices. The Enterprise Service Management Office (ESMO) has established offering naming standards: Enterprise Service Management Office, Enterprise IT Service Catalog, Service Offering Naming Standards. Offering names that appear on StatusHub or within the ITSM tool (TeamDynamix) will be aligned to a corresponding service catalog entry. Offerings that can experience an IT incident will also be listed on StatusHub.
The first step in alignment is to update the offering names of entries that are already listed on StatusHub to match service offerings listed in the service catalog. This will be completed on July 01, 2026. Additionally, the offering names will be available within TeamDynamix (TDX) to support both Service Request and Incident Management practices.
Some offerings already align with the naming standard. Offerings that have had their names updated on StatusHub are in the table below.

StatusHub Entries Without a Catalog Entry
At this time, no entry will be removed from StatusHub. ESMO will work with offering owners to develop catalog entries for service offerings. This includes StatusHub entries (dots) that represent more than one offering. This is a phased approach, leading to every offering that is listed on StatusHub to have its own catalog entry. If you are an offering owner and would like to get a head start, please reach out to the ESMO through our ESMO Request Form.
Future Offerings
All new service offerings will align with naming standards and, if they meet inclusion requirements, will be listed with the same name on StatusHub.
