Status at Illinois, How to get Editor access to post for your department's systems

I'd like to be able to post to Status at Illinois for my own department.

Status at Illinois is a public-facing website. Anyone can use the public URL to check the status of a University of Illinois IT system or service: https://status.illinois.edu

To post to Status at Illinois, you need Editor's access to https://uofi.app.statushub.io/.

If you (or anyone) are interested in being able to use Status at Illinois for your department, please note the following 4 steps should be completed by each individual who needs access:

  1. Create a Status at Illinois account by authenticating via Shibb: https://uofi.app.statushub.io/
  2. Submit a request for access using the Request Form to request Editor Access: https://go.illinois.edu/StatusRequest (In the form, please write that you would like to use Status at Illinois on behalf of your department. Please provide any other information about the system(s) you would like to post on behalf of).
  3. Status at Illinois Admin review to confirm both steps have been done and provides Editor access to requester.
  4. Admin sends a confirmation email to requester once Editor access has been provided.

Our Tech Services Admin will be follow up if they have questions. Access is usually provided within 24-48 business day hours of request.
