Office 365, Email, Exchange, How to show sub-folders when using Mozilla Thunderbird

My Exchange email account's sub-folders are not appearing in Mozilla Thunderbird.

NOTE!

Thunderbird is a free, open-source product and there isn't a vendor for us to escalate to. We will try to help troubleshoot but in the end you might need to visit forums for solutions.

If you run into trouble and are faculty/staff you should speak with your local IT pro about using officially supported email clients.

To subscribe to your Exchange email sub-folders in Mozilla Thunderbird, do the following:
  1. Open Thunderbird.
  2. Right click on your exchange account in the left-hand side of the window.
  3. Select "Subscribe"
  4. A window will appear that lists all your folders and sub-folders. Select the ones you wish to subscribe to.
  5. Click "Ok"
Note: Mozilla Thunderbird will only provide access to the email component of your Exchange email and will not allow you to access to your calendar, contacts, tasks, etc.

Thunderbird may also include an option to "Show only subscribed folders". Unchecking this option will show all folders in your email account.
